Apparently the machine is now completing initialization but when attempting to zero axis' it has a time-out waiting to change modes. Machine status page shows an error reading "initialization failure for motion control board."

You should be able to operate/troubleshoot machine on its own. Not sure if you have to switch some key on the back to change the mode, or it will initialize on its own using the last program that has been loaded....it's been awhile. Line computer dow

Katrina, it is one of both: 1. Communication error - try to initialize machine with line controller OFF. This should tell you if machine can initialize on its own and if the problem is on the machine. Try without the feeder carts, look at the cards

Hello Kristof, We use 1 PC which does line control and programming. We always boot the PC up first, then when it is fully booted, then we turn the machine on, we let it zero set, then we send the job over (this is how we do it when everything works)

With LC off, the machine when told "Without LC" will zero set. It displays Error 746. After zero set, turn LC on, and it hangs up. Error 746 is IEC blocked, solutions Reboot machine and PC. And we know, rebooting isn't getting me anywhere. What car
