Would like to know what type of soldering iron you are using. On this type of big jumpers, a continuous heating soldering Iron will do the job nicely in order to heat the jumper wire properly.

It doesn't look to me like the jumper wire is wetting at all. I would immediately question the solderability - do you know how that jumper wire is finished (plating type)? Also, how experienced are the solderers? It could be that the wire never get

hi Team, observed excess solder after assembly jumper with manual solder method. I already try to duplicate the phenomenon with adding more solder tin/wire,adding more time for solder but not found same condition I have attached the image for the

I think Steve is on to it. The wire is not getting hot enough to wet. Either the solderer is attempting to solder too quickly, or the PTH is connected to a ground plane. The solder sticking up through the hole leads me to think it's connected to a

I am new to wave soldering. Any information is greatly welcomed. Here is the problem. After soldering the boards they have a film on the bottom of them and sometimes a white powder looking substance. I have tried decreasing the amount of flux on

Hey all! The wave solder warrior is back. I have found a flux which leave almost no residue (the least yet), but because of its super low solids content I absolutely cannot get topside fillets. The multi-layer, two sided board is on a pallet w

I think SEHO GoWave 1030 is better than ERSA ETS 330. The SEHO GoWave 1030 is a powerful soldering system for mass soldering applications. It's used for all types of soldering.

Does anyone know if there are specific tools designed to remove fingers from the wave solder rails? Thanks

Our wave solder pallets are cleaned via our inline board washing machine.
