Samir, From experience, the only board test situation where tented via's have difficulty with contact is with a Flying Probe type tester. Otherwise, for traditional ICT, the force of the pogo pins, correct probe type, and fixture design should do th

Surely this is a job for Wavemaster Larry? Have you tried flux buster pins in your ICT yet? They are quite good at cutting through the crap on a board.

Hi all, There are no ground layers which makes the non wetting rate a bit confounding. The foam fluxer has not been cleaned in a while though, while there is a strong evidence of fluxing by running blank paper and looking up the top side

Just curious what effect pinholes and solder voids can have on solder joints that have high current passing thru them. Also could moisture from steam sterilization (autoclaving) get inside a said solder joint and then outgas during high current, and/

We have had this issue on our Delta 3 waves and determined that there are small pin holes in the solder pot. We had plates welded to the outside of our solder pot on the lead free wave and this bought us enough time until we could replace the wave, a

Hello once again! I am having a problem with a 24 pin connector bridging on the wave. We use very similar connectors on other PCB with zero problems. This connector bridges in the same place on the same pins. It forms like a little block of four

Do the parts sit directly on the PCB? Typical 2.0 mm Max is desired for the component to be off the PCB. Are stand-offs an option? The long lead wiggles as it passes through the wave and thus agitating the air out.Does your wave a "dancer" option?
