Blackfox Training Institute is proud to announce their latest development in their Veteran Advanced Manufacturing Certification program. This program was originally launched in 2013 and more than a hundred Veterans have been through it since. It was created out of a partnership between Blackfox Training Institute, Lockheed Martin, Colorado Department of Labor & Education, and a deep passion for serving those that have served and protected us. Over a hundred Veterans were trained and subsequently employed at advanced manufacturing companies along Colorado's Front Range.

In order to keep up with industry demand, IPC has released amendments for J-STD-001F, Requirements for Soldered Electrical and Electronic Assemblies, and IPC-A-610F, Acceptability of Electronic Assemblies. For each standard, IPC-A-610F Amendment 1 and IPC J-STD-001F Amendment 1 represents a critical shift to deliver necessary updates to these already robust standards.

IPC announces the release of IPC J-STD-001GA/IPC-A-610GA, Automotive Addendum to IPC J-STD-001G Requirements for Soldered Electrical and Electronic Assemblies and IPC-A-610G Acceptability of Electronic Assemblies. The addendum is a first-of-a-kind document that requires the use of both J-STD-001 and IPC-A-610 along with requirements in the addendum, as it looks at the whole of the electronics assembly manufacturing process from assembly to inspection addressing board reliability requirements for the automotive industry.
