We are looking for a new BGA rework station. We got an ERSA IR550A and we are not very satisfied. I'm not sure that IR reflow is the better solution because the top-side heating is too large. I think is better with a convection "forced-air" heat.

Air Vac DRS25. Hands down the best rework EQ. (my humble opinion, based on my own experience with rework EQ going back 15 years +) Right in your budget. Complete capability for rework. SMD, BGA, POP. Full profiling capability. Massive bottom heati

We currently use Assembleon Gem series pick and place machines. We have no problems using them other than they are not intended to run 0201 or 01005 components. We are looking to buy another machine to add to our lines that would be capable of doing

What vintage are the gem series you are running? We have some '06 Opal Xii's and place 0201's with them. Haven't tried 01005's. I know you said new but Cardinal Circuit has an auction gonig right now that has a 2010 Assembleon MG1 and a 2006 MG2 and

I didn't knew about this procedure because it doesn't appears in the manuals I have. These are not originals but incomplete photocopies (this is one of many problems of this machine) that I have compiled from other colleagues. I jus received just som

Hi MikeS, I didn't post all the information, because I didn't want to mislead you. I wanted to see your way. We tried 3mil and 4 mil stencil using type 4 paste. It was hard to get the right aspect ratio and that;s why we did it on Nickel stencil - a

Hi Dave, We do not reflow those parts but are merely a supplier. Therefore I need to have our application specs in order. So, in case the customer has a problem I want to be able to properly support the customer. Hence, I'm curious about the details

Thank you so much. We actually did get the machine up and running yesterday morning. We switched the theta and the transport driver cards and it is working now. We have had the connectors burn on us in the past and replaced them. I am hoping the prob
