Hi Peter, I've got to admit we cheated by adding another GSM per line, but that's not always the most economical option. Cheers, Rob.

Hi Fastek, Why am I asking ? Cost pressure ! Down 10~15% every year to remain competitive. Need to do differently for better $ per unit. Hi Rob, Thanks for your candid advice. Kind Regards, Peter

Hi laxman, Only to answer one of your question, actually almost 50% of component we use switch to lead free alloys. We receive confirmation for transition to lead free of at least 10 components per day. So, Yes I think all component will be ready

Nick's point is well taken and quite true but finding reflow specs in an IC mfgr's datasheet is not very common. You may need to call the mfgr's tech support group.

I can only speak for the Fuji, but it is quite possible to get the maximum placement as long as you set the feeders and cut out some of the programming options that slow the machine. But then you may have a line-balancing issue, i know i did.

Hi Jon, Thanks for your reply. Age of the machine does play a part too. So, at 60%, there is still 10~20% improvement opportunity for the Siemens machines.
