I have been asked a question on what procedures we should in case of a PCB delaminating during the reflow process, e.g what gases can be produced and any evacuation /re-entering checks that we should do before allowing the operators to return to thei

Wow this sounds like an upper management questions. Why would anybody suspect any different out gassing from a board that de-laminates and one that doesn't, unless of course the board is literally being burnt or scorched. If I'm missing something he

when you have delamination problem,is an error in the manufacturing process of pcb manufacturer.the only method but costing money for avoid delamination is steaming all pcb just before production

The delamination was caused by a board falling off the rails and the operator not paying attention. I was more concerned with what fumes are produced by a smouldering board.

ah, so just for the record, it's not always the PCB fab shop causing delamination. What a nice way to end a week.

I was asked how we verify that the thermocouples INSIDE the reflow oven are calibrated. That seems pretty impractical to me. Has anyone come across this ?

My own unit has an internal transformer also. It has multiple secondaries, and a divided primary which can be configured to the required voltage by changing jumpers. Best regards.

Just after some information... We have a Universal Combi6241D and I am interested in knowing if anybody knows of a company or an engineer that is able to offer maintenance and breakdown support? We are based in the North East of England.

Depending on the shield, the PCB, and the parts under the shield, we usually place all the parts, then the shield and reflow them all. The shields usually have breakaways on the top so you can still inspect the components under the shield.
