Vision Type 12 may work also. You may want to try vision type 20 with backlight calling out the leads. Or you could use a black nozzle and try VT:180.

This type of component packages works best with vision type: 254 - irregular. Measure the total package length including the leads. Also set the body dimension x-y tolerances to at least 0.35mm and the the pick up x-y tolerences to 0.5mm in the part

Try using a solder like S03X7C from Koki, which uses cobalt to prolong the tip life & also a wire wool type dry wipe instead of a wet sponge.

Board Baking recommendations

If you bake the boards at 125 degrees celcius for about 4 hours it should work. I would also suggest that you talk to the PCB supplier to take care of this baking for you. NOTE: PCB�s with an Entek or any other type of OSP finish should not be baked.

reflow oven problem

i have 1 customer using our reflow oven, he is facing the problem that after taking the boards from reflow oven ICs & some resistors felt down.they are using our glue dispenser also, the glue is not fixed with the component. wht will be the solution

We use the dosimeter badges and also check every morning with the machine at full power using a handheld meter around the door openings and glass just to be safe. JD

Maybe, but distance between Tantalum capacitor and BGA is about 1cm. Also how evaporation can affect on the BGA balls and can be cause of short?
