siemens nozzles cracking

Can some one explain to me why the ceramic nozzles are cracking not on the tip but on the base??? also how long do the sleeves last, no informaton from siemens they just came in and changed from 'o'ring to bearing type?? Thanks Julie

Measure the flatness of a surface

For flatness - Put the part on a leveling plate and roll a dial indicator across it. The leveling plate is not required for a true flatness check but using this will also work for parallelism of lead base to top of body.

You are right, playing with apertures is how to ensure release. Making a stencil thinner or thicker is "playing with apertures" It all relates to aspect and area ratio calculations and what you need to do based upon the numbers you get. Russ
