When you say "very old" do you mean it's discontinued? My supplier is telling me they still sell it. In this case, the residue is pooling up and clogging up a switch. That's what we are considering too much. Thanks.

So are you saying there is no way the vision system will accept the part if there is problem with feeder or nozzle?In what case,misalignment can happen before reflow process?

I agree with Darby, apart from that the Engineer needs a Preventive Maintenance Course on the machines. In that case it is better to have training at the machine's manufacturer premises. Reason:Obvious.....Insurance!!
