I hear ya Ray, but I have standard (automatic) solder dispenser that are 700gram modules. Jars have other issues that I have migrated away from... I like your idea of slaving the paste bar code label to the board scanner....

I learned yesterday that Kester is using a different color on their products. They thought that other manufactures would also follow their lead in this.

I have a MPM3000, I have tried the multiple models still same problem. When you Teaching Board Stop Y, do you set the cross hair at the leading edge of the board?

I think you are right. Board stop on Y. Vision square is the stencil fiducials. So if you are using pads.... I am not sure. But why didnt you used board fiducials? none on the board?

The way I understand it, Y boardstop is the edge of the board to and from your standpoint not left to right. And as I mention, the best vision is always fiducials not pads. I've worked with those before and I've always had problems when using a pad.

My board is in the center, it appears that it would read the stencil but not the board. " Board Model NOT found".I am open for any input.

The Vitronics is an unbelievable machine. It's a bit pricey (200k) but worth every penny. Contact larry@lapaent.com for more information. Good luck.

If you are using FlexProg, you define the order (refdes, x, y, t, part no). CSV, space, tab, colon, semicolon delimited are all acceptable, definitely ASCII text format.
