I don't know about the TM8FC magazines but the Agilis magazines allow you to slow down the tape advancement speed. If you can, slow down the tape advancement on the TM8FC.

Travis, Thanks, but there is no adjustments (software or hardware) for tape advancement on the TM8FC magazines. Got a hold of the feeder documents from Mydata that Sr.Tech was talking about. I'll try there suggestions. Thanks

I'm using a lead free solder paste, low residue from SENJu among all the pastes I've tried it is the best I've found. you can ask for any type of alloy, but request the 729C flux type. kind regards

We evaluated four SAC305 pastes. Of the four, we found Alpha OM-338 to appear to have the least flux residue. We also found it to be the most dull, least shiny, most non-SnPb looking of the four.

It it PSA tape or heat seal? Every machine I have ever used has trouble with PSA cover tape. I wish they would ban in in ROHS. 3M tells me it is the future and it will replace heat seal tape.

How are your experiences with stencilling 0201 components on large circuit boards, i.e. 400 * 250 mm ? Will there not be too much mismatch between between stencil and (FR4) boards? If so, would dispensing be a solution? Any other solutions?

Dependig on your process. If you use the same Gerber data that made the board to make your stencil, by a reutable stencil manufacturer, then no you should not have any mismatch issues.

I have to make a correction to my previous post There are specialized inks with cadmium pigment The easiest way to find out is to get an MSDS from your supplier and check for the presence of cadmium (which is a banned substance under the EU RoHS dir

Thanks for your help. Looked for an MSDS on the ink but could not find one. All this ink was ordered long before my time. I will try to contact ink vendor again. J.E.M.
