Check the timing belt. I have running into a similar situation before. "1 notch of" of the timing belt can cause very strange behaviour of the machine. /Sincerly Ps. let us know your progress. Ds.

Dear Colleagues, I would like to know if there is a requirement to carry out MSA/capability studies on SMT machines when you move a line. What paramaters do you concentrate on to check. More importantly how is the MSA carried out Cheers Crishan

I'm looking at a Quad 1000 to purchase. Good machine? Does it do fine pitch? What should I check for before buying? I have feeders for Quad 100, will they work? Dave

I have never seen the image quality on the Ersa but the SMT Tools scope we have is definately good enough for spot checks. I have it hooked into my laptop to capture images which works ok.
