I agree with chuck, but would like to add. 2D is a great option and helps to keep your printing process in check, it will measure the x & y coverage on the pad. It will help you determin when your stencil aps become clogged or when the bottom of your

The hasl joint looks fuller (and is easier to inspect)because it has more solder volume. Think about it. Your pre-plating your board with solder (before you add more solder). I doubt your getting 0.3 mils of hasl.....probably more like 1.3 to 3.0

Tx, Your spec limit is the point at which you expect to see a failure. In other words, what is the probability that you'll see a short when you have .008" of solder paste? What is the probability that you'll see an open if you have .004" of solder

It's not surprising at all if you are in the business like I am. Used buyers are only concerned about one thing....who's got the cheapest price. Stefen learned the hard way but he is certainly not the first or the last to experience this. Years ago i

We have encountered what appears to be mask discoloration after wave soldering. The areas of concern coincide with the areas that were exposed selectively by fixtures during wave soldering, dominated by one date code of PCB with a slightly different
