It seems 1/16" has been speced (component to pcb edge). This is our spec and we conform to IPC, but I am not completely sure if this is what IPC std states. Does anyone else know if this is in deed the true spec?

For all Tray type components the machine will not pickup from the tray using the adjust assistant (f6). It will default to a position where you can place the QFP onto the nozzle yourself by hand.

What kind of voids? There are voids from out gassing (moisture) and voids from contamination and or poor solder ability ? If it is on one component I would look at the part. Also if it a big Varistor make sure the board is preheated properly.

The Fuji CP6 and QP242 should be more than capable of placing 0402(cp6) and bga components (QP242). You must be having some programming difficulties.

Quad IV C problem. Our machine is not placing parts. We can test each component one by one and the machine picks and places the parts correctly. When we run the machine for production it does not pick up the parts. Any ideas?
