Help! I have a MPM AP/A screen printer that when the unit goes through "Reset" at the end of "Reset" it turns on the "Dispense Pinch" and it allows a valve to open and it whistles so loud you can hear it all over the shop. Is there a way to disable

We use Humiseal T300 latex mask for over 17 years. No smell. That said we have been dispensing several ways. One is a Asymtek 718 in-line machine using a 1 gallon pressure pot and their DV7000 valve. It is an auger valve that has been highly successf

How thick are their requirements? A barrier can be made using peelable latex. That would then require manual or automatic dispense of latex to create a dam. Then you should be able to use an automated dispense system with a large orifice and flood

Our company has 8 EKRA X5-X5 Pro's we do not use that function on any. Personal preference I guess. I assume the cartridges are set up like the pneumatic gun type dispensers, drop in a cartridge and go. Not in Europe, sorry no knowledge of where t

One word: Dispense your paste That's three words! Unfortunately the board has nine LGA components. Stenciling is the only way to get the required consistency in deposit shape and volume. If the board were all passives+QFN I would definitely use a

Hi Joshua, We ran 150K per week this way, you just need a lot of pallets. Regarding dispensing I've seen 0201 (Imperial)paste dispensed, so about 0.4ish mm dots. I'm sure the Mydata printer is also pretty high resolution too, but not too quick.

Mike, The dispensable solder paste is ordered separately from the printed paste because it has a higher flux content. I would not feel comfortable mixing liquid flux into the printable paste. Ask your paste vendor if they have a dispensable version.

At a past employer we stacked caps and resistors quite regularly. As some have suggested a dispensable paste was used and dispensed by hand and then the stack was placed. At first it was placed by hand, but then we were able to program our Mydata to

For components with the large pads, you can also use secondary soldering dispensing. Some printers like DEK have an option to mount a syringe with an auger valve to do dispensing after the printing step process. Obviously will not work if you have to

Seeing this graphic has me rethinking solder paste jetting as alternative to stencil printing. It seems it's only 2-3x faster 80k points per hour vs 28k. Wouldn't it be better to get 10 time pressure dispensers vs 1 solder jet?
