High temp solder is the best, but your profiler manufacturer will have some type of adhesive. I know KIC does.

Does anyone know of a reason, other than visual, contact, or testability, for cleaning a no-clean residue off a board? Are there any SIR or long term reliability advantages to cleaning a no-clean residue?

I am having problems sourcing an unshrouded, through-hole header. I think the problem is that my pitch (0.15") is non-standard. I have had no reply from my queery to Molex, so does anyone know of another vendor who may be able to help? .......Thanks.
