Are you sure there wasn't solder stuck up the nozzle. Which would make for a doggy pressure indication?

100% positive. First thing I did was check the nozzle, plus it was happening with all nozzles on head 1. It's definitely in the circuit somewhere.

Then look for a disconnected supply or earth to the head. A dodgy cap (high ESR) on the supply of the board. Put a CRO on the supply and check it's supply and earth to chassis and to each other and then compare the level to other boards in the machin

Fuji specs out Omega 66 grease for the solenoid sliders on older CP machines. These solenoids run hot. Its interesting to me that this grease is designed for extremely low temperature applications. Whats up with that ? http://www.omegaoil.co.jp/ind

Are you sure the anvil is coming up? You might try running a program w/o parts or boards (no continuity check) and watching to see if everything is moving when it should be. Do you use continuity checking? If so, what are the results?

Are you using adjustable workboard holders or dedicated ones? Are both heads lined up exactly the same(using the b.e.c. template? Are parts formed correctly and lined up with the component holes on both sides(heads)?

This would not produce the condition that Darron is seeking help for as the vcd would stop due to not seeing a clinch in signal with a mechanical jam.

I remember reading about this in the forums before. Search for silkscreen in the forums, and you will find the thread I am thinking about. http://www.smtnet.com//forums/index.cfm?fuseaction=view_thread&CFApp=1&Thread_ID=10013Message40186

Yea, I remember that. Our customer freaked out but it never caused any problems I am aware of and the boards still have not come back to us. If you are using imersion gold, I would be pretty sure this is the cause.

Floyd, Purchase a spare set of motherboards, get the numbers from the boards and google them up. The CP-40 motherboard is getting on now so you should pick up new ones very cheap. Also don't forget to check the battery on the motherboard.
