Thank you so much Stephen, I will look into it. Hiring seems to be very word-of-mouthy in this industry - I appreciate the help!

Get someone with experience in machine programming or smart/educated enough to do the job and send them to Fuji to learn the machine specific programming.

I'll be honest here, while training people to IPC standards is good. Zero% of our clients or future business inquiries ask about things like IPC610, even stipulating ISO is rare, as long as there are systems in place of some sort.

The modular inserters usually have them built into the feeders, which is part of why each feeder is so expensive. I'm sure I saw one system with a separate clinch unit but they are all dog slow compared to a rad 5 or 8 or 6241D+.

Yes, my research and feedback from one supplier in particular is that their feeders can preform, cut and clinch (although I'm not sure why you would need the clinch). We will be sending them a small kit to demonstrate to us (online) its capabilities

Hello SMTnet members, I could not find any information about finger type selection. So I want to ask you What is the advantages and disadvantages of C or L type fingers difference for wave soldering machine? and which conditions are they using?
Electronics Forum | Wed Jul 22 20:28:29 EDT 2020 | ldavis
Typically C type fingers are used when running boards directly and L type are used when running boards in fixtures/pallets.

Dear Larry, Thank you for comment. In according to this, I heard that ıt is much useful to use L type finger when your PCB use without palet and the PCB is little bit heavy. What is your opinion about that?
Electronics Forum | Thu Jul 23 19:38:35 EDT 2020 | ldavis
I think it would have to be pretty heavy to fall out of the c fingers. I have never seen this happen in 30 years of wave soldering.
