It all depends on the part you're cooking. Most components have a storage recommendation in their spec sheet. So be sure not to exceed it. Generally I see a lot of spec sheets that are arounf 140 C. So I set the oven for about 100 C and let it go

Excuse me, but if I remember my physics lessons well, volume is what the water displacement measures, not mass. therefore, if you take the volume of water displaced by your populated PCB, divide it by the thickness of the PCB (which is easy to measur

Claude is right, however, this may work: Dip the empty board in paint and let the access paint drip off. Measure the volume of the paint before and after. Dip a populated board and measure how much more paint was required in percent. Measure the surf

Recently, our customer request us to use the N2 dry cabinet and we are currently using the desiccant type dry box. My concern not only the cost. Is it any data to show if the component exposed to the floor for a while and store back into the N2 cab

FAI appears to become fashionable in the Bay area. FAI on double side sticky tape is the first one I hear about. How does the customer test the functionality of the board, when the board is not soldered?. Components are not wasted for FAI. Wrong part

I will convinced to change to the no clean process by environmental safe even though clean process is water soluble but it still produce the waste. Also, the BGA is not recommend to clean, if the flux is not completed removed from the board and elec

If you are comparing the machine utilization to the manufacturers best speed generally it is less than 20%. i.e. Fuji CP6 max manufacturers speed = 40000 placements per hour. When you add in downtime, breaks, maint, set-up, feeder replenishment etc
