Thanks davef. The defect always occurred during UHAST reliability, but not find in reflow. The key is that there is tin diffuse to copper trace under solder mask. is it a "normal" board defect and what is the potential risk for device? thanks!

After I measured, Pin 1 is gnd, Pin 2 is output = approx 1..795 Vdc and pin 3 is input = 3.3VDC. Someone please help me to find out the part number. Is it Linear voltage regulator or something voltage supervisory for microprocessor/microcontroller.

How do you specify HASL to your fabricator? We talked about issues with HASL previously here on SMTnet. Search the fine SMTnet Archives to find them. Here is a GREAT article on HASL written by an old friend Earl Moon: http://www.smtnet.com/express/1
