Hi there, Could someone please tell me diferences and possible benefits that are found when using silver as a pcb finish as opposed to HASL. I've already tried the archives without much luck. ta much, jack

difficult posting

Sometimes posting is really difficult. Messages get through although the screen shows an error message. So you write it again , send it and see that the first one did get through. Annoying ! But that�s counting for the high score, doens�t it ? Wo

Dross Removal

Does anybody know how often you should scrape the dross off the solder pot? What happens if too much dross is left? How often should the solder pot be cleaned?

Hi ! Try fresh DRY solder paste... Keep solder paste in a sealed container until the moment of use. Humidity absorbed by the soldering paste becomes vapor violently at the moment of heating it , expelling the solder in form of balls everywhere.

Sure you can do it!!! Just so that I'm clear on your inquiry, the pattern you're talking about is what? * Foot print of the copper pads * Glue pattern for printing your adhesive
