Inspection magnifier

Can anyone give me a manufacturer name for a good quality illuminated SMT inspection magnifier. We use 3 diopter. I have tried many many different brands. They all seem to fall apart.

Thanks for your input Cal! It is very helpful. The PCB's that I work on also have large ground planes. I was wondering if the Zephytronics could handle it. It is also good to know that they have a money back guarantee.

Skewing of parts

Make sure that your mesh conveyor drive chain is not jumping a sprocket tooth. This will cause the conveyor to "pop" and you will have skewed parts. I seriously doubt that it is your profile causing skew. It is more than likely something mechanical.

I ahve been using Pentalogix ViewMaster PLUS. Cost about $1k. It's a little tough to use but does a pretty good job for the price.
