Hi, What worries me is that a lot of people speak about what they have heard, but there is no firm facts on exactly what the situation is. I did a seminar on lead free a while ago, and was told that going lead free on the components while running l

Grant I'm gonna have to go ahead and sort of disagree with you there. The studies that I've been reading from various BGA Manufacturers have identified insufficient homogenizing / coalescing of the Sn/Pb Paste with the SnAgCu balls. Ball not touchi

Hi, I have seen demos of these scopes, and don't think they really show you very much. If you profile your board right, and drill up to solder a thermocouple onto the inner balls of the device so you really know your getting a good profile, I don't

Hi, That's my thoughts, and I just don't know what looking at the component will do for the process. I did not know anyone used anything other than no clean flux these days. If you have the money, then the scope would be fun, but my main point is

Hi, Thanks for the ideas, and I liked URL's idea of seeing if we can move the in feed sensor, that might hold the board wile the other is feeding in. Our in feed conveyer is also much faster than the oven, and I wonder if we can change that. I will

Hi, A second hand TP9-2U MYDATA could be picked up very low cost, however it will only load a single component at a time, which could be ok for your jobs. However if your running 0402, I am not sure if that model will do it accurately. Your machin

I know that you were very specific in your email about your choices, but have you not thought of adding a faster Mydata? You would negate the learning curve on operations & maintenance, have spare feeders, & be able to transfer programs over. Regard

Hi, In Melbourne expect about A$15 per hour for basic labour, A$17 per hour for team leader level, and $20-$25 per hour for better, but it depends on how talented. If your talented, you could make a lot more in the right company. Australia is low

Hi, One think we always hated when running MYDATA was the vib feeder, and we had no end of problems. The supplier told us most people angled the component tubes up, however then the vib settings change between when the tubes full, and mostly empty.
