Hi I am looking for informations/specs about graphite/carbon deposited on PWB as a "spring contcat" or land (? not sure how to say in English). - Are there any Standards (IPC?)who define correct thickness of graphite ? - Are there any Test Method

The "lead" in pencils is no longer lead. (not for several decades) It's graphite. And it is very conductive. I found out the hard way in high school science class.

For lead-free, we had great success with graphite molds from China. As far as I remember, it was about 10$ a piece. Very easy to pop them out too.

Mike, we use a product called Dow Corning 321 dryfilm lubricant. BTU reccomends it. You can find it in Mcmaster Carr for about 21.00 a can. Mcmaster PN is 1255K14. I reccomend pulling the chain off when you are lubricating it to avoid over-spray. Th
