DEK pro-flow

Electronics Forum | Fri Feb 16 08:58:53 EST 2007 | SRM

DEKs are the best. They blow all others away. Sure the Pro-Flow does tend to waste paste, and you do get some blow by, but once you realize you have the best screen printer available, you can live with trivial things like this. Squeegees are for i

Hi Vshan, Have more pallets made, and don't stack them - lay them flat on a trolley and move them back to the start of the line.

Russ is correct. We have been using SAC 305 for SMT and SN100C for wave and selective and repair for about a year. May switch to SN100C in SMT at some point if we can get some paste that wets better.

We have been using SAC 305 for reflow and Cobalt 995 (very similar to SN100C, only cheaper) for wave and rework for quite a while now with no issues that I'm aware of.

If you think you are having lighting issues, you should do a histogram test. It's under the test user. There is a pot on a power supply that will adjust the brightness. The power supply is right next to the Y axis motor. There should be a brown p

Probably because you are using baords, as you quoted above. "Your DEK could read non-blackened fids? Wow, you must have bought them from Superman. Or did you just teach baord pads and stencil openings?" In my DEKs, we use the new fangled "Boards"

I am looking for recommendations for working with this package. We have ran some QFN20's but this one is a little smaller and lead-free. If anyone has experience with this, I welcome your comments. Thanks

PLCC 44 and QFP 240 tilting problems

Are your pads on the board aligned correctly? I've seen this a lot lately. Pads on opposite sides are not aligned correctly. This causes the part to twist. If you have the Gerber and a way to check it, it's worth the 3 minutes to check.
