If anyone is placing 0402 components using a Quad 4C I would like to hear any tips or advise. We have a job that is loaded with them.

FYI...Universal has software that "senses" if parts are present in the PTF trays or not. With some upgraded s/w your dumping would be over

Have you considered a different solderpaste ? A different flux chemistry may help. The metals content wouldn't have to change. Just go after a slightly more aggressive flux.

SMT solder training

My company is planning on utilizing SMT on a new product line. We would like to have several of our production people trained on SMT solder rework and repair. Can anyone suggest an appropriate training class in the New York metropolitan area?

Two things 1 Your glue supplier is the best source of advice on cure profiles. 2 Try ... adhesive and cure ... you should get 3 threads

Try Component Express. They have quite a few tube feeders available. I've used their Multi-Tube feeders for the GSM with success. http://www.c-express.com/
