We change the nozzles depending on the job. Do you have the magnetic nozzles? We upgraded to that. Usually we use the smaller ones.

Yea, we've bought lots of feeders from these guys and had good luck and response - they seem always able to meet a tight date and I think they will even rent feeders for special jobs if needed. (I have no affiliation with them).

S62-325XM3 from Cobar - we used this for soldering all sorts of battery terminations to pcbs, & did a better job than every other paste we ever tried. The flux is so agressive it sits in the corner growling.

Just wondering who should really operate an AOI? Should it be the SMT operator or the Inspector? We are trying to run the AOI inline but Operators do not feel it is their job to do so. Just wondering how others are handling it.

Most AOI, in-line or off-line, are operated by SMT machine operators. Yes, and how dare they say "..do not feel it is their job". FEEL, are you kidding me. Fire their asses.
