Another SMTnet registered company is looking for information on "converter slitter machine" availability. Are there any equipment dealers that can help with this? I will forward all contact information to the member. Thank you. Dennis@SMTnet.com

I used the Rosenthal sheeter or slitter when I worked in flex circuits. Do you want to go from roll to sheet sheet stock? These machines worked very well for us. http://www.rosenthalmfg.com/

Can anyone give me some insight into what to look for on a used X-Ray machine. Or just any thoughts on using X-Ray inspection. We are getting more and more QFNs and our inspection seems a little subjective. Thanks.

Smaller and multi-row QFNs will probably require an oblique view/5-axis xray with resolution of at least 1 micrometer and preferably a nanofocus machine. Given the low standoff and small pad size, verifying wetting can be challenging on interior pad

Versaflow3 is way better than KISS103. I had them both and I don't see any comparison.they are different class machines.

Funny how things can be looked at from two sides. Not sure what would be considered low volume in the above post. Our first KISS machine has been producing product for well over 4 years now, double shifts every day, and about 50% of the saturdays

Hi, i have 2 pick&place machines. which configuration is better: put 2 in series or parallel? Thanks

If you can put and run all the parts for a single product on one machine, run them in parallel. If you can't, run them in series.
