I just has this issue and replaced the MIU card. I ordered it from IBE SMT. Make sure to troubleshoot before purchasing anything of course.

Hi. Check the 5V PSU supplying the VME rack. Make sure you have 5V and not something like 3v. try removing the ISA card from the PC and try a different ISA slot in the pc. Hope this helps. Brian.

You may want to also check out a cheaper package. They advertise here. Unisoft is a simpler package which makes it cheaper. http://www.unisoft-cim.com/ Jerry

What kind of voids? There are voids from out gassing (moisture) and voids from contamination and or poor solder ability ? If it is on one component I would look at the part. Also if it a big Varistor make sure the board is preheated properly.

Manncorp makes a motorized version which we use, I believe the model is Toppoint. Has never had an issue, not sure if the price is competitive, but works well.
