I go with DaveF's advice. You are probably curing the glue too fast. Another phenomenon that I have experienced was during glue cure and solder paste reflow simultaeously. A good reason to run a glue cure profile seperately from solder paste reflow

Hello Gentlemen, Dave has a good point. Proposing to move the rails for the sake of thermal integrity doesn't seem logical to address you issue. By adding a rail set you have simply added mass (almost like big heat sinks) throughout the oven vs. w

Hi. Does anyone out there know of a way to calculate the surface area of populated PCB's? We build many different types, and until now have been using a water displacement method, which I believe to be fundamentally flawed. Our technique is to drop a

I have a question to pose for all of you. We use BTU TRS ovens for all of our SMT reflow. Anyone that has had any experience with these ovens knows that they are large and the have a lot of " thermal mass" Which means to me that they are very stable

try using thermal pads under the area without the balls. yeah, its a pain but we did it before for lot run of 500pcs BGA. Not feasible for mass production run, you say? well, thats why there's a thing called DMF, and why its the designer guys res
