How does CP642, CP642 talking to the flexa or MCS system? RS-232 or ethernet? Can they communicate using RS-232? Thanks, -Michael

You do not want get involved with MCS if you can avoid it. It's archaic old school that 3 people on the planet know how to use properly.

Have you checked WinMCS? it's the software in windows that controls the machine. if you open it up it might have thrown some error codes, i believe it has some diagnostics in it aswell.

Thanks for the replies. MCS is not on our 3030, it probably wasn't available on the 3030 model. The ethernet switch which connects the vision pc and the rtpc was found to be defective. The switch was replaced and the 3030 returned to normal operat

I would ask the used equipment dealers that advertise here. One of them might have a monitor they would sell.
