Yeah, perhaps lean more towards a ramp-to-spike profile - reducing the soak time and add a littel heat to your temp above liquid. This has worked for us with water soluable paste as we are not required to use no-clean and utilizing a 6-zone oven. G

You can keep only the 5th zone as the reflow zone. And lower the first two zones to keep a good ramping rate. Meanwhile, please note the ting temperature in software or control panel is not the exact temperature in your PCB, you'd better get a KIC or

What paste are using? You should referance the manufactures time and temperature specification. Running lead-free in a 5 zone oven can be done with out a problem but it is not production friendly. If you are concerned with through put I would look fo

I am not very concerned about production time, but it is always a thought! Quality is more importnant of course. We have 2 different pastes, with almost identical requirements. We can get close to their profiles, but i am worried that i am spending

Has anyone got any of these ovens or know of any issues with these? We are on the market for a 10 or 12 zone oven and the BTU above is looking like the favourite Any info would be great

I like MpM personally - run forever and programming is easy and leads you through it. It's hard to miss a step of programming with MpM software. DEK's a little harder (for me) but still very nice controls. The pluses of DEK - DEK has a high freque

I agree you are too cold for the profile get it up to 230C and possibly allow it to dwell a little longer in preheat as opposed to pushing up the reflow zone only. Sn90/Pb10 melts at 220C so 2C hotter than your profile so you are reliant on it alloyi

Hi Everyone, Reducing the top heaters around 10 deg each at last 3 zones of reflow oven. Helped us in achieved little lesser temperature at top connection of the CCGA. And we didn't face any bent. Bridging : Reducing the stencil aperture , has wor

Hi. I've been looking for SMT machines and have a budget close to 100k total on a stencil printer, p&p + feeders and reflow owen. Witch machines would you choose with this budget? Have any one of you heard of evest? http://www.evest.com.tw/product.h

Here's my 10 cents Studies done in the 1980's concluded that pure tin was prone to whisker generation. A tin content lower then 70% became exempt from this phenomenon. I have never seen or done any studies on the impact lead had in reducing the pote
