Again, if the connectors can stand reflow temperatures you have the option of intrusive reflow (pin in paste)where you print paste over the holes for one of the connectors. I have did this before on a slightly different type of connector. Works prett

A no-clean paste with an above average amount of halides should do the trick. Kester EP256HA is a good choice for this application if you are using a leaded alloy (Sn63 or Sn62).

mickd, I prefer a rail of 7.62mm (0.300"). This alows for the tooling pins and fiducials without any trouble and minimizes the waste. A fiducial of 1mm round with a 1mm clear area around it. Jerry

Does anybody know the pinout diagram for the PMJ pallet destacker SMEMA cable? There seem to be more signals than just the normal Busy/BA and I would like to know what the other pins stand for. rgds
