i acutally meant to bake components that are moisture sensitive before placing them. i just want to use a toaster (not the pop up kind), maybe the best way is to just get an oven thermomoter and see where the 125c setting would be on the toaster.

i read in smt soldering handbook that by placing the device in a 125`c within 48 hours the moisture will be removed what do you think about this method ?

Steve, you're correct. Placing and dragging 20 pitch is tedious and easily leaves bridges behind the heels of leads that can be difficult see.

Humidity question

Main reason is the oven is 38kW and reflows a day's worth of production in 90 minutes. If it ran all day this place would be a sauna. That and the cost of electricity. Mariss

Thank you Dana and Stephen, I will give it a shot now. I'm not surprised it's not in the manual... apparently there is tons of stuff not in the manual and Fuji tells me they have no idea what half of the unwritten stuff means :)
