Any Suggestions on How to remove oxidation on connector pins. The boards have been sitting for awhile and can't be washed due to transformers and open relays that are on the board.

The parts are from 2000-2004. The temperature at the leads are between 215-220. When the part is removed from the board, some of the leads are nice and shiny and some have dewetting, so I dont think it is a temperature issue.

Hi Ralf, This discoloration may be re-oxidation. Fluxes are supposed to do three things (1) remove oxide, (2) promote wetting, and (3) protect surface from reoxidation. The solder paste possibly is not protecting from reoxidation. Best Regards, St
