If you can not find the source of cotamination then apply masking to fingers until you do find source, single layer of Kapton tape or similar should not affect print thichness. This will eliminate scrap / rework in the mean time.

Even a slight amount of epoxy will prevent a part from soldering. Look at the part after print. If you any trace of you epoxy between the pad and part, you have a potential problem.

is there any gap between the pad and terminal if we place the glue? Btw, my practice to print solder pate then punch glue then PNP component and finally reflow. Also we find drop/missing chip after wave eventhough we glue the component.

I'd start by looking at the available tips from the manufacturer of the iron you are using. They usually have a selection of specialty tips in their catalog either online or in print.

When I've seen white strands in the solder on SMT boards, it's been fibers from stencil wipes that stuck to the stencil, then transfered to the board when it was printed. I'm not sure why this would only happen with fine pitch components though.

Anytime we use a glue/wave solder process we print the adhesive using a stencil and our screen printer and we have excelent results. It is in no way a difficult process.

I don't understand the long lead times comment. You should be able to get stencils next day.

Maybe they are buying them from a guy who cuts them with a dull chisel and a rock. Cuz that could take a while depending on aperture count. (I'mjustsayin)
