Hi Wow, I can't imagine this set up. No wonder some of us were coming from opposing directions. My thoughts would be to buy another pot if needed and not go to N2. Do you have a site that we could look at the dynamics of this N2 air knife/ solder

some thoughts come to mind..... usually an air pocket as the solder heats up, or the surface is still solid and liquid under, pressure builds and then... check your heaters, make sure one (or more) is not bad, may be getting uneven heating. cover y

Well, since you've gotten no takers, we'll launch in to this with careful analysis and introspection, fully aware that we're likely to get 'blasted' for any number of reasons. The most critical parameters to monitor for proper wave solder machine pr

We have been using a selective solder system for all of our automated LF through hole processing to this point. It has served us well but volumes are increasing and we are getting ready to pull the trigger on a full size wave machine to handle the l

In your video, it looks to me as though the bottom of the glass is too low, but, I can't tell for certain. As a general rule, keep the top of the wave no higher than the mid-point of the PCB. Top flow will take care of itself thanks to flux and cap

Hi, I off center idea we used when we started. Get a pasta cooker, and put in vapor phase fluid, and then use that. Place the product in the bottom of the inner pot, and then heat on a small hot plate. When the vapor cloud gets high enough and the
