All good points by Pee Wee Herman; your solder balling may appear if you don't currently have stencil with reduced apertures or "homeplate" design. "Flux is solders' muscle."

Hi everyone We plan to use on our smt line sac 305 and on our wave soldering sn100c. Will there be a compatibility problem if we do make touch up with sn100c on smt or touch up thru hole components with sac 305 ??? Thanks for taking time to reply

Good post WML! you helped a lot!, Chunks brings up good point. Are there vias that can be shorted by this component being slightly misaligned? When reworking there could be residual solder or even flux that has shorted the pads or component, etc.

Sorry I misled you. The PCB pads are wetting, but there is no fillet being formed. After reflow, it looks as though no paste was put down on the pads; however the paste print is fine. All other components solder real nice, it's only the Pd-Ag parts t

Be carefull of the effect on other components with a 7mil stencil, like fine-pitch devices will bridge more, excess solder.

We do not understand the question. Take a deep breath, remember not all of us are trained as geologists. The smallest solder ball we've seen is a little less than 5 nm.
