Does anyone have experience in doing dye and pry analysis on PoPs? A customer wants to know whether or not the board level or device-device interconnect is the suspect. What other technique can anyone recommend? BWET

C-SAM is a non-destructive alternative that a lot laboratories and chip manufacturers use. Dye and Pry would work I suppose although I have never done it in practice with PoP but it should be any different for PoP.

Dye and pry is frequently used on BGAs to determine if there is a crack at the board level or component level interconnect. C-SAM will show internal delaminations of components, not sure how well it would work with solder joint cracks. You can also

We do not use a Victronics selective solder but we you activ8 102 stainless steel flux from worton metals for our nozzles. Hope this helps.

Hello. We use an Assembléon MC24 (similar to the Yamaha YS24, the fast version of the YS12) and I can say it is a really good machine. Low maintenance and a good userfriendly software. We run our MC24 with 35.000 cph. And the machine is really small.

You might want to look at REHM. We just bought one and it's a very nice, well built oven. The install and training were great.

hi , we have Heller 1808 and I would say that is doing good job as oven. However for less than 3 years we had to replace 6-7 blowers. There are very nice machines in the market, but it really depends on you and how much money you are ready to spend.
