Electronics Forum | Fri Dec 27 12:12:29 EST 2019 | slthomas

thanks again for reply, we have now configured speed of traveling so pcb can travel through preheat with one speed (call it v1) and through wave with other speed (call it v2). Lenght of preheat elements is fixed, so with speed v1 we can change pr

From the picture, I cannot see clearly solder ball violate electrical clearance or cause a short, maybe it is. What I can see is the solder paste has some misalignment although it doesn't printed in solder mask area, but actual position will reduce

Hello Pak Agus, Was there perhaps a change in solder paste? There has been confirmed occurrence in your case which happened in the work place I was before; all same parameter, equipment, material, and suddenly solder ball outbreak happened across al

LGA voiding

Electronics Forum | Thu Jan 02 12:42:49 EST 2020 | slthomas

As far as stencil design for LGA's I was thinking in terms of verifying that you've used the same aperture design criteria that you would normally use for LGA's so you know you didn't introduce some new variable. I've made changes from my norm bas

Electronics Forum | Tue Jan 07 02:04:45 EST 2020 | robl

Hi Mikey, Your signal pins (2 & 3) for USB1, 2, & 3 are all connected together so there is no way of splitting the incoming signals from the 3 ports. Normally there would be an IC (a USB hub controller) switching between the signals so that the PC
