Does anyone know of a better way to inject grease into the cam follower bearings on top of the turret on a CP43? Fuji wants you to use a plastic hypodermic syringe.(It works, but it is kinda a pain in the a$$)

Just a thought, Solder flows to leads of parts and will tend to flow to hotest point. Im not shure but top side temprature might be hotter than bottom side. wouldent this cause solder to pull further up lead after leaving wave.

We had same problem. Solder balls appeared on top side of board and led to damaged second side stencles. We worked around problem by running blank boards thru oven and inspecting and removing solder before processing boards with parts.

I've never had one "float" in the wave. Have you tried waving yet to see? Anyway, glue would work, or you could place a a small weight on top, or clinch a couple of leads. Russ

I would highly recomend an 8 zones (top and bottom heaters) oven as it has better flexibility than 7 zones. However, I would also would like to check for the heated length. Some oven has many zones but the heated length is small. Arman

EPM-IBL of Germany is distributed in the USA by AICT Technologies hailing out of FLA. Ask for Eric Forg at 407-831-2550. They Sell Vapor Phase ovens that range from bench-top to in-line systems and everything in between.

Also, how much do these new generation wave machines go for? We do not need the top of the line model. We only run about 3 hours a day as we are designing less and less with through hole.

Does anyone have any experience with a table top AOI? If so, how would you rate vs other options? Thanks
