CP6 and CP65: What's the largest part they can place?

Electronics Forum | Thu May 03 15:07:59 EDT 2012 | rodrigo

Hi all, What the largest part I can place with these machines? I'm going to try to install a PLCC68 using the front light because the part is bigger than the backdisk and I want to make sure it can handle it. The part is about 30mmx30mm. Thanks

In my experience Both Dek and speeline machines are good used. personally I think speedline seem to hold up better when PMs have been ignored though. Also make sure you can get a third party board support system into it like a gridlock or Vacunest

In those cases where we have a 3.2mm thick, 16-layer board with several GND layers, do we still need ground connection to each and every layer (with thermal relief) or, skip part of the ground patterns? Will it help soldeing rising. I can't reach mor

have you considered intrusive reflow? I ran a product similar to what you are describing and the only way we could get sufficient holefill consistently was by this process.... there may be obvious reasons why you cant but worth a shot if you can- it

We've had the same issue on our Panasonic CM machines with Cree XP type LEDs. Count on tools makes a urethane tip nozzle that we are using which eliminates the sticking, our concern with these is durability. Nozzle supply company makes a steel Teflo

I am looking for IPC or other published standards that specify cleanliness levels for: 1) solder paste stencils 2) selective solder pallets When we cleaned PCB's we used a limit of 4 M-ohms. Now that we have transitioned to No-Clean, I am wonderi

we encounter the same problem as you 3 years ago. but now we have implement to use KIC 24/7. you just need to take 1 time profile (for the base line profile), and then for the next time you run your product, it will take profile for each board you b

KIC 24/7 has evolved into RPI. Not only will it give you virtual profiles, it also gives you DPMO and yield, based where each board lands in the process window. The good thing about this software, you can go back a year later and look up a specific
