Well, another alternative is to use a water washable flux. If you insist on staying with a NC flux, use one that is probable. We prefer to probe solder, rather than copper.

Hi Sue, We have a Micromat Router & a Sony Router which we use for Rigid & flexi rigid. We use a press for Flex only (or where flex is joining the boards) & a scoring machine for other rigids. Hope that helps, Rob.

We use "SFDM"-- Shop Floor Data Management... We have just recently started using it so I don't know any specifics on it. Do a web search on Shop Floor Data Management and there should be a web site. Hope this helps ....

We are placing labels using a Hoover-Davis feeder with a GSM. Anybody else out there doing this? My question is: Are you using a special nozzle for this operation?

We have placed labels using the Hover-Davis label feeders on our Juki machines and we used standard nozzles. Are your labels an odd shape where a standard nozzle won't work?

Habba, I don't know why use lead free capacitors and a non LF components. I do not get the idea? Can you educate me? Is this customer driven or just your company. You must use leaded solder paste for this type of process. Arman

We are using the paste vendor's recommendations for TAL, preheat, etc. They do not give any indication on their datasheet for the time to use to calculate slope (calculate over 20 seconds, 60 seconds, etc. - not included in their data).
