We are using gold plated leads on SMT devices. Gold embrittlement is supposed to be a problem at concentrations above 4%. Has anyone done any work to qualify this?

these machines are controled by a panadac 783 which has memory for 8 programs. How you can control these machines by a computer ? There is ,as I have heard, a Panasonic program host. what can it do , Is this the solution ? Thanks John

You can use a meter in "diode mode" to illuminate an LED to check a batch. Hopefully your stock room doesn't open the container and poor them all into a bucket to be issued out to the floor.
