Would say about the same as above, 8mm according to a cookson presentation we had, of course it would depend a bit on the paste you are using.

It is very common to relate ENIG pad surface finishing with BLACK PAD defect. However, is anyone know why BLACK PAD defect only happen on fine pitch pad areas suach as BGA, QFP? Why this defect did not or seldom happen on capacitor @ resistor pad??

Most MPM's have a DOS operating system only, no windows. Most newer trackball drivers are installed in windows. I haven't had much luck using new trackballs because of this. You can probably find a logitech marble plus on ebay.

Chunks, your right, I need to get out more. What are you doing Saturday night? Harry is right about the software version compatability with trackballs. What is the version and machine type?
