Hi Davef, Basically there is very poor signs of wetting ,the hole fill from the top of the board is non-existant and we are using 63/37 solder bars (wave solder machine).

Hello Chris, Are you inspecting wave soldered boards as well with the Mirtec? I hear that inspecting wave soldered boards is so much more complicated than reflowed boards, no doubt due to the varying shapes of even perfectly acceptable solder joints

We use a NC Flux in the wave solder and after aAcelerated Life Test cicle we found contamination white residues paths between some solder points. Does somebody know a possible cause for this contamination.

Unlike components where the solder paste has been reflow soldered, wave soldered components have an "infinite" amount of solder available to make a solder connection. If you have good solder flow, pad and component termination size are going to be b

Would anyone out there happen to have some experience with wave soldering of white emmersion finish pcb's? Recently, we have done some prototype boards in white tin. The reflow solder joints look very good, but the wave solder joints look grainy. I
