Insignia Appoints Robert Collins as Chief Financial Officer; Mark Stevenson Promoted to Vice President Worldwide Sales

Insignia Strengthens Executive Team with the Appointment of Robert Collins as Chief Financial Officer; Mark Stevenson Promoted to Vice President Worldwide Sales

FREMONT, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 3, 2004--Insignia Solutions(R) (Nasdaq:INSG), today announced it has strengthened its executive team with the appointment of Robert Collins to chief financial officer and the promotion of Mark Stevenson to vice president of worldwide sales from senior director of americas sales. Robert Collins brings over twenty-five years of executive financial management experience to Insignia. Linda Potts, who was serving as chief financial officer, will remain with the Company as controller.

Mr. Collins has several decades of finance experience with a background in telecommunications, semiconductors and health care. He served as Chief Financial Officer for both public and private companies including Zilog, P-Com, Netgear and Array Networks, and previously, he held several senior management positions at other growth companies. Mr. Collins received his B.S. from Adelphi University and an MBA in finance from California State University at Hayward.

Mark Stevenson has been promoted to vice president of worldwide sales, bringing over eighteen years of experience at Motorola as senior director of US sales operations, where he managed teams responsible for sales in excess of $2 billion per annum. During his twenty-two years in the industry, Mr. Stevenson developed close relationships with key executives and with most major North American wireless operators.
