Agilent Technologies (Loveland, CO) will present innovations in design, test and measurement in a traveling exhibit for engineers in the communications and electronics industries. The one-day seminar series will be held in 12 U.S. and Canadian cities, May 13-31, 2002, and is free of charge.
The three-week Agilent Solutions Tour will cover advanced solutions and recent breakthroughs in test technology, with product demonstrations and seminars focused on digital and electronic design automation and RF/microwave solutions. Hands-on demonstrations and technical presentations will include:
a new performance 50 GHz microwave signal generator and signal analyzer;
capturing infrequent and random events using mega-zoom deep memory scopes;
solutions for Bluetooth manufacturing;
real-time trace tools for handset and base station design debug;
tools for OC-48 and OC-192 design validation;
multi-port/balanced passive component evaluation;
network analyzers;
new techniques for physical layer device and interconnect characterization;
generating higher data and symbol rate 3G signals up to 160 MHz of RF bandwidth;
peak and average power measurements with analysis capability;
new connectivity suites and products;
new 3.3 GHz pulse/pattern generators that provide fast rise times and low jitter on pulses;
protocol testing of cdma2000 and GPRS mobile devices;
and refining W-CDMA protocol for the RF test environment.
