BTU International, Inc. today announced that it has signed a two-year agreement with Yingli Green Energy to support the State Key Laboratory of PV Technology. As part of the agreement, BTU will supply a SinTerra metallization firing furnace system. SinTerra, the latest technology for metallization drying and firing from BTU, offers outstanding value by providing high-performance heating and cooling technologies. The furnace delivers the lowest cost of ownership with industry-leading uptime, unmatched process repeatability.
Additionally, BTU will participate is the development of new PV technologies and manufacturing equipment improvements.

The Yingli Solar State Key Laboratory of PV technology will be built as part of Yingli’s main manufacturing campus in Baoding, Hebei Province and will focus on new technologies, processes and materials for solar manufacturing. The lab will also be used as a center for academic and professional training.
